image People in Nature … at the Beach

Lets be Wild challenge this week is People in Nature. My second post for this weeks challenge.

Purely because I have spend time at the beach the past two evenings and opened my eye and focused my camera on people, not just the scenery. And because I think these capture life on Queensland beaches in the late afternoon. What got my attention the most however, was the simple pleasure that locals and holiday makers expressed being out in the late afternoon. Families, couples, singles, dogs of all sizes and shapes. Some strolling, others just watching the world go by. And the absolute beauty of beaches under the changing sky. It really can’t get much better than this.

Sail-boarding, Caloundra. I love how I captured the close-up of this gentleman.

Walking a beautiful Staffie pup, Lula. We chatted to this young lady and her effervescent puppy. Luna was such a pleasure to watch running around the beach and saying hello to everyone.

A ‘horse’ of a dog. Such a massive and gentle pooch. Almost as big as her owners 🙂

We watched this lovely photographer taking shots of the young couple in the late afternoon.

Contemplating and sizing up the early evening waves

Walking the dog … a common occurrence on our beaches

Strolling hand in hand

Dad and son .. and pooch

This one caught my eye. A young lady quietly writing and reading her journal.

I’m participating in the online adventure travel magazine’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge for bloggersThis week’s Challenge is: People in Nature!
